How Often Can You Tint Eyelashes?

Eyelash tinting is where you dye your lashes to give them the appearance of having mascara on all of the time. The process is semipermanent and will make a dramatic difference to people with light-colored lashes.

As a general rule, you should tint your lashes no more often than every 4 weeks. The dye is permanent and will not fade, but most of your old eyelashes will have fallen out and been replaced with fresh growth in a month.

They will likely ask you to flush your eyes with water to alleviate the burning sensation. 

How do you get eyelash tint off?

When having your eyelashes tinted, there is a chance that you will end up with some of the dye on your skin. This is particularly true if you are doing it yourself at home.

It is a good idea to prepare for tinting your eyelashes by covering the skin around your eyes with a thin layer of petroleum jelly. This will help to prevent stains from the dye from setting into your skin. 

If you have some distilled white vinegar at home, you can soak a cotton ball in this. Use it to carefully wipe around your eye. This should lift all of the color from the dye. Eye makeup remover pads are also a good thing to try.

They are formulated to remove even waterproof makeup and will do a good job of lifting eyelash tint.

To remove dye with baking soda, you will have to make a paste with a little water and apply it carefully to your eye area.

If you have lighter or blonde hair naturally, you will really notice the difference eyelash tinting makes. If your hair is darker, you may not see too much of an impact.
